Photo Guidelines for Portraits

If you’ve ordered a Little Portrait, I’ve put together some examples of great and not so great reference photos, which may help you when choosing what to submit.

Photos should be large, clear (natural light is best) and ideally front-on. It’s great to have at least one closed mouth smile and do confirm eye colour if it’s not clear in the photo.

Photos don’t need to be in any way professional, so please don’t worry about the quality too much – a few good selfies are totally cool.
